Carl was born in the Barrie area in March of 1978, his family then moved to northern Ontario, to a place called Red Lake. When he was about 13 years old, his father, Manfred, started a company call Northwest Contracting where he enlisted the help of his son. Carl learned many different aspects of residential construction early on in his life. Carls education evolved around the construction industry focusing on framing, plumbing, electrical, painting and landscaping. A few years later the family relocated back to central Ontario, the Orillia area. Carl continued to be involved with construction throughout his high school career. A few years later, after college, the province of British Columbia (adventure) called. Again, taking a hands on approach to make money, Carl was once again picking up odd jobs and worked part-time for an independant contractor. When he wasn't doing the construction, he was a very active member of the Prince George Search and Rescue group as a Volunteer Fire Fighter. Two years later Carl returned to the Orillia area where he began his inspection career. Carl then worked in building inspections for 3 years in the London area, where he started his own inspection company. Carl is now a proud member of the Napoleon Home Inspection team.
